Continuing on the theme of all things Pinterest (if you only ever use it for pictures of cats and tutorials on how to make slime, this isn’t for you! 😊), I will write a blog on each of the top tips I included in my blog post “How I Grew My Pinterest Views to Nearly 4 million in under 4 months”.
I am rubbish at new year resolutions and frankly, stereotypical with it all. Every year I promise to get thinner/richer/fitter/become a teetotaller and every year I fail miserably. By January 10th I’m reaching for the wine…
2018 started with a bang for me, my Instagram posts were consistently getting extremely good engagement and my follower count was growing by the day. Ironically, fast forward to the end of 2018 and with 50,000 more followers, my posts are now getting less likes and comments than they did a year ago…
Pantone have just announced their colour of 2019 and it’s….. Living Coral?!? Immediately it conjures up bridesmaid dresses, all twee and meringue like or a nail varnish that gets left unused in your make up bag…
After visiting Home Sense to purchase some Christmas decor, I realised that I am drawn to stars. I have made a few snowflake stars to hang around the house, so here’s a quick tutorial on how to make them.
When Command Brand contacted me asking if I would like to try out their products when creating a homemade Christmas decoration, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. I had seen a few twig tree decoration guides on Pinterest and several high street stores selling them for the festive period and thought they looked fun, simple and relatively cheap to make.
Yep, you read the title right! Back in June I had 13 followers on Pinterest and just under 750 monthly unique viewers which I thought was fab seeing as I’d never really used it properly. But when I realised that Pinterest had so much to offer, I managed to grow my follower count to just under 500 (and growing quickly all the time) and over 3.5 million monthly unique viewers. Yes! Millions!!
Way before I started taking whole room shots of my house for Instagram, I was always fascinated with flat lays and beautifully set tables on Pinterest. Here I attempt to create my own with a little advice along the way…
Our house was always a doer upper. We bought it as a renovation project as I always prefer to put my stamp on a property and not pay through the nose for a house that has already been renovated, but not always to my taste. And after 5 attempts of painting and decorating the kitchen, I’m finally happy with the results…
I have previously done a very small chalkboard doodle in my guest bedroom, so decided to give doodling a go on the office wall after a planned gallery wall didn’t work…
Autumn caught up with us a little quickly didn’t it? After the long hot summer that we have just enjoyed in the UK, it’s time to change up our decor for the darker, colder months…
I’m a Mum and that means I drink a LOT of coffee, so I was excited to try out the new Tassimo My Way brewer…
Recently, my Husband and I were invited to a ball at Mansion House in London and Mr B surprised me with an overnight stay in the Savoy Hotel, London. It really is as swanky as they’d have you believe…
When Natalie from Dalit contacted me and asked if I was interested in receiving a few samples of their gorgeous Dalit products, including candles, spices and soaps, I was immediately interested…
It’s all about the kitchen! For years I had to make do with kitchens that had not been updated since the 70s or were so small, you couldn’t swing a cat in it (no cats were harmed testing this theory)…
I’ve always thought plants make a home. They bring personality, life and a calm quality to a room and let’s face it, they look great!
I was lucky enough to be given tickets by Axa Insurance UK to attend the Grand Designs Live show in the Excel Centre, London this week and what a fabulous day it was! I have always been a huge fan of the show and have watched it since the beginning…
I am obsessed, obsessed with all things Interiors, design and creativity! I could sit on Pinterest for hours looking at beautifully curated homes and Instagram has given me the opportunity to peak inside equally obsessed interior enthusiasts like me! But, I have another passion. I love travel, adventure and exploring the UK and further afield…
Why has mood boarding not been a thing in my life? At the best of times I’m disorganised and indecisive, so to be able to put all my thoughts and inspirational ideas onto one page has been a revelation…
We bought our first house (to live in) in November 2016. We were moving to an area just outside Brighton, that was a little on the expensive side and I would have needed to sell a kidney to get the house of my dreams....

Welcome to my blog! I started this website to document the renovation of our house and my love for Interiors. I hope you enjoy reading it!
