George Home – The Latest Inspiring Homewares for Spring/Summer 2023

One of my favourite high street brands – George Home at Asda, has recently released its new homewares and summer products for 2023. George Home has always been one of my go-to stores for homewares and often the first place I go to find new trends.

They have a huge selection of the latest home décor trends at fantastic prices for every room. Their new range features products starting at just £3, with many items going viral on TikTok. The Modern Cottage range is a timeless collection with a modern refresh, with cottage-esque designs, pastel shades and blooming florals.

Their tableware features new abstract prints, and their seersucker duvet sets are flying off the shelves. Here are a few of my favourite summer products for every room in your house.

George Home has always been a trendsetter when it comes to natural and biophilic design and their latest homewares can help you transform your living room into a nature-inspired retreat.

Go for products with lots of green, blue and browns which are easily mixed together and are complemented with plants and natural materials. Ocean-inspired interiors are also a big theme this year, so patterns with waves or sea themes are also a hot topic.

Modern Cottage features lots of pastels, frills and gingham

The George Home Modern Cottage range is fantastic if you love pastel colours, gingham and florals. This collection is perfect for brightening up your home, ready for spring.

You can easily mix and match pastel colours with these products and bring the whole scheme together with multi-coloured gingham patterns for a more cohesive look.

If it’s geometric and Aztec prints you are after, look no further than George Home’s Sahara range. It is full of wild animal prints, abstract designs and rich colourways which will inspire your living room for the summer.

This is perfect if you love the neutral, minimalist look or are still a big fan of Scandi interiors.

The George Asda dining range has always been one of my firm favourites. When we moved back to the UK from abroad, I bought all our tableware and kitchen accessories from George Home at Asda and they are still being used every day, 8 years on!

George Home has introduced a wonderful abstract print into their tableware which works extremely well with natural elements like wood and stone. The smoked gin glass finishes off a monochrome table setting.

George Home – Bedroom

Green Ditsy Floral Duvet Cover Set Single from £11 // Natural Diamond Crochet Throw £12 // Natural Bee Embroidered Cushion £10 // Green Riverside Reactive Glaze Tray £8 // Natural Water Hyacinth Storage Basket – Set of 2 £40 // Green Reactive battery Bulb Light £9 // Navy Hand-Painted Stripe Vase £6

I am a huge fan of George Home bedding and bedroom homewares. We own several bedding sets and I often have to stop myself from buying any more!

Their seersucker bedding is always an extremely popular choice and comes in many different colours – lilac, pink, yellow and green to name a few. They also have a huge range of patterned bedding, which works best in rooms with one wall colour. Unless you are a maximalist… use all the clashing patterns!

If you’re looking to continue the Sahara theme throughout your house, look no further than George Asda’s Sahara range for the bedding. There is plenty to choose from – tiger prints, jute rugs and rattan lamp shades.

Red Tiger Print Cushion £7 // Monochrome Textured Clipped Dobby Duvet Set from £17 // Pink Tiger Print Throw £22 // Natural Round Jute Cushion £12 // Bambeko Abstract hanging £4 // Rust Greek mini vase £5

George Home – Bathroom

Body Shape Dispenser £5 // Cream Sahara Tribal Bath Mat £10 // Black & White Sahara Abstract Towel Collection from £5 // Rust Stone Effect Dispenser £6 // Rust Stone Effect Tumbler £4 // Sahara Geo Tribal Towel Range from £5

And finally, the bathroom! The bathroom can sometimes get overlooked when it comes to décor. Many of us have white bathroom suites, so this is the perfect opportunity to add a bit of colour to the room.

Towels, bathmats and soap dispensers are a good way to bring a cohesive colour scheme into the bathroom. Mix and match patterns and textiles to add depth to the room and don’t be afraid to add plants!

With so much to choose from and at such a fantastic price, you really don’t need to go anywhere else this spring for your homewares. But hurry up, as I know only too well, these items will fly off the shelves!
